13th April 2010 - Complex Systems and Computational Social Science Workshop

The following invited international experts will give talks on the day: Prof. John Casti, IIASA, Austria; Prof. Stefan Thurner, Medical University of Vienna, Austria; Prof. Peter Richmond, CASL, Visiting Professor. Talks will be on computational concepts, principles, and modelling approaches in the social sciences, with an emphasis on simulations and elements of complexity theory. Additional presentations are also being invited for this one-day workshop. Talks should focus on the area of computational concepts, principles, and modelling approaches in the social sciences, with an emphasis on simulations and elements of complexity theory as these apply to social phenomena.

This event forms part of the TCD/UCD Innovation Alliance Programme of Events.
