Tuesday, 27th April - Engineering Design Innovation Open Forum

60 postgraduate & postdoctoral research projects from across TCD and UCD having direct links and relevance to industry will be showcased throughout the day via a series of poster displays and desktop demonstrations. Each hour-long topical session will start with a senior representative from industry who will give an overview perspective of some of the key technological challenges in the coming years. These will be followed by brief presentations of current research within the Innovation Alliance. The Panel Discussion will include distinguished key people from industry as well as academic professors from the TCD-UCD Innovation Alliance who have varying experiences of successfully commercializing their research activities.
