Thursday 11 November - Innovation Dublin 2010: Literary Mediascapes

The seminar's speakers, who will include Professor Gerardine Meaney, will consider the issue of place in literature, particularly in the digital age. The panel will discuss the multi-media landscape developed for the Joyce's Dublin research project and consider how teaching and research can use the IVRLA's literary collections. The seminar will conclude with a round-table discussion of issues and experiences in integrating digital resources with literary research. Tea and coffee will be served before the event (3.30 pm onwards). Staff will be available to demonstrate the IVRLA resource before and after the seminar (3.30-4 pm & 6-6.30 pm).
