Friday 20 May – Design Competitions - Delivering Excellence in Public Realm
A discussion of the design competition as a creative, cost effective and efficient tool for procuring and delivering excellence and innovation in landscape architecture and public realm. Speakers from around the globe share their experience from competition launch, to competition entry, to realisation of winning projects. Projects include major public parks, streetscape and public realm. The conference will inform those involved in public and private sector procurement, design and management of public realm. It will be of interest to landscape architects, architects, planners, procurement managers, facility managers, quantity surveyors and engineers, in local authorities, government departments, academia, and practice.
